2018 Holiday Home Lights Contest
Get your holiday lights ready!!!
The Holiday Home Lights contest is an opportunity for you to show off your Christmas spirit and decorating skills by lighting up your McAllen home! Judges will score on Creativity and Theme Flow, Best Decorations Made From Recyclables, and Number of Lights and Neatness.
The Grand Prize of One Year General Pest Control Service Sponsored by BUGkiL Pest Control will be awarded to the overall best home.
Other Prizes will be awarded as follows:
Best Neighborhood Block - $150.00
Best Individual Home - $150.00

- Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 12 Noon.
- Judging: Thursday, December 20, 2018
- Don't forget to leave your lights on for the judges on Thursday, December 20th from 6pm to 10pm.
If you live in a gated community, please provide entry access to judges. Prizes will be awarded Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Keep McAllen Beautiful Advisory Board Meeting.

Holiday Home Lights Judging Criteria
Judging will be based on a scoring scale of 1-5 with 5 being the highest as follows:
- Creativity and Theme Flow
- Number of Lights and Neatness
- Best Decorations Made from Recyclables
- NO BLOW UP’s – blow up displays will not be judged as part of the overall score
