ABOUT THIS PIECE

For the Aztecs, axolotls were divine animals, since they represented the god Xolot, who escaped by turning into corn, maguey and then into Axolotl, to avoid sacrifice. In addition, these animals have the power to regenerate themselves. Within the work we can also appreciate the god Quetzalcoatl, brother of the god Xolotl, associated with the idea of movement and life. 

We can also appreciate the monarch butterflies, they are incredible creatures known for their beauty and resistance, it is important to emphasize that they are in danger of extinction. The hummingbird is considered an important and revered symbol and in the Aztec culture it was a symbol of power and beauty, besides representing gods such as:

Huitzilopochtli considered the god of war and the sun, often depicted with a hummingbird on his head.

Tlaloc : god of rain and fertility, related to the hummingbird for its connection with nature.

En la obra se aprecia Axolotl, para los aztecas los axolotls eran animales divinos, ya que representaban al dios Xolot, quien escapó convirtiéndose en maíz, maguey y luego en Axolotl, para evitar el sacrificio. Además, estos animalitos tienen el poder de regenerarse.



Dentro de la obra también se aprecia al dios Quetzalcóatl hermano del dios Xólotl asociado a la idea del movimiento y de la vida. 

También podemos apreciar las mariposas monarcas, son criaturas increíbles conocidas por su belleza y resistencia, es importante recalcar que están en peligro de extinción.

El colibrí es considerado un símbolo importante y reverenciado y dentro de la cultura azteca era un símbolo de poder y belleza, además de representar dioses como:

Huitzilopochtli considerado como el dios de la guerra y el sol, a menudo representado con un colibrí en la cabeza.

Tlaloc : dios de la lluvia y la fertilidad, relacionado con el colibrí por su conexión con la naturaleza.

Enoc León León was born on April 26, 1993, in the community of Cerro Grande, Filomeno Mata, Veracruz, he is currently 31 years old.

Enoc has participated in events such as:

• Takilhtsukut Park in the Tajin Summit 2021 and 2022 in the city of Papantla, Veracruz.
• He also participated in the exhibition of his works in the museum of Teodoro Cano, in the city of Papantla, Veracruz.
• In addition, he has done murals at Justo Sierra Elementary School and Cuauhtémoc School in the municipality of Filomeno Mata.
  

Enoc León León nació el 26 de Abril de 1993, en la comunidad de Cerro Grande, Filomeno Mata, Veracruz, actualmente tiene 31 años de edad.

Enoc ha participado en eventos como:

• En el parque Takilhtsukut en la cumbre Tajín 2021 y 2022 en la ciudad de Papantla, Veracruz.
• También participó en la exposición de sus obras en el museo de Teodoro Cano, en la ciudad de Papantla, Veracruz.
• Además, ha realizado murales en la Escuela Primaria Justo Sierra y La Escuela Cuauhtémoc en el municipio de Filomeno Mata.
