"This painting was inspired by my father Oziel Arturo Cantú, whose favorite past time was raising chickens. I felt it signified a connection to his home, and a "Gallo Fino" is usually shown as a representation of Mexico. I hope when people pass by it, they smile and feel a comfort in remembering our culture."-
