LITTLE VALLEY LIFE
ABOUT THIS PIECE
The piece is called “Little Valley Life” named after the many pollinators that visit the valley year after year. The vibrant colors the hummingbirds, butterflies and bees bless us with, along with the blooming flowers that surround them, make the valley brighter. I’ve always had a fascination with pollinators that I suspect stems from my mom’s love for them. She’s always made it a point to have a colorful garden both she and the pollinators could benefit from. I hope my art helps to spread awareness that these small creatures need to be protected and assisted in thriving. - Amanda Ramirez
ABOUT THIS ARTIST
I’ve always turned to painting as a way of taking a step back to focus my energy on myself. My inspiration is drawn from anything around me like my garden, my children or even a good book. As a resident of Edinburg I’ve been lucky enough to share some of my work at Festiba, Los Muertos Bialan and Fridafest. Once Covid came I was unable to showcase my work. My recent work can now be found in the comfort of my own home I share with my awesome husband Tim, our two children Melody and Dominic and two cats. -
