Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec (Mexican) creator god, who was also the patron of rain. His name means Feathered Serpent in Nahuatl, the Aztec language, and he was depicted as a combination of the green quetzal bird and a serpent. Last year in my homeland, there was a drought...so I was thinking in Quetzalcoatl hoping my thoughts reached him and old stories about our creations will somehow return the rain. -
