My motivation for this project was the memory of going to the Bannworth park in Mission and seeing how the ducks go on with their day. It’s pretty common to see ducks in the RGV and I believe it was good choice to have them painted on the pipe and hopefully it’s something that people could relate to or just appreciate the work. -

ABOUT THIS ARTIST
Francisco is a first generation Mexican-American that lives in Mission, Texas. He got his bachelors in studio art at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and his favorite medium is acrylic painting but also does ceramic, drawing, and oil painting. The thing he like about art is that there is room for improvement and confronting new challenges.
