ABOUT THIS PIECE
The artwork, Mystical Balance, finished on the Irrigation Pipe on the intersection (S 2nd St. and Houston Ave. McAllen, Tx) includes the integration of the LGBTQIA community pride colors, religious interpretation balance of the sun and moon, colorful mid-day sky and sunset backgrounds referenced from the McAllen sky, and additional characters of aliens as a mystical personal touch of the artist, making the artwork a greater extension of me as an artist.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST
South Texas Artist with previous experience in doing commissions in acrylic paint, mixed media, charcoal, and chalk pastels. Current Art instructor in the city of Mission, Artist/Muralist for the city of McAllen, and substitute teacher in the city of Edinburg, with a freelance artist during free time.
