This piece was inspired by the beauty I grew up enjoying in my own backyard. From an early age, I have always had a love of nature and became obsessed with birds especially, but love all kinds of animals and always was thrilled when I'd see one I hadn't seen before.
I have spent hours looking at and taking photos of the birds and wildlife around me and wanted to capture the natural beauty of the valley in this local habitat painting for others to enjoy, and to show how diverse this area really is. - Gloria Ester Moreno
